Mr. Peter Oluoch Odhengo is a Climate Finance Expert, with multidisciplinary experience spanning over 20 years in sustainable development, policy development, with a focus on green fiscal policies for realization of inclusive green economy, development and coordination of CDM projects, renewable energy, climate smart agriculture, natural resource accounting, coordination and negotiations on climate change mitigation & adaptation, NDCs and NAP projects management, tagging, monitoring, tracking and reporting of climate finance flows , resource mobilization and capacity building.
Mr. Odhengo holds a Masters of Science in Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Ecology, and various post graduate Certificates:- in Wind Energy Management, Geothermal development, Sustainable Water Resources Management, Green Energy and Technology Life Cycle, coral reef conservation, oil and gas fiscal regimes and contract negotiations, public expenditure analysis, climate finance and resource mobilization, cleaner production, Investigation and prosecution of environmental and associated offenses as well as water-related climate change adaptation: a South-North Dialogue on Knowledge, Senior management.
He is a registered NEMA-Kenya Lead Expert on EIA/EA, a member of the UN-REDD+ country task team, founder of the Greening Kenya Initiative, a sharper under the Coalition of Finance Ministers on Climate Action.
He is currently a Senior Policy Advisor on Climate Finance/Green Climate Fund NDA and Head of Climate Finance and Green Economy Unit and the Program Coordinator, Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) Program at the National Treasury. In addition, he is the Team Leader Green Bond Sovereign Framework, green bond listing rules and guidelines for the issuance and Kenya Initiative Trust-a Public-Private-Partnership initiative whose mission is to promote universal access to clean energy through diffusion of green technologies for the advancement of green economy in Kenya.
A “Green Planning Award winner” for the development of an innovative methodology for the combined strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Land Use Plan (LUP) for sustainable planning and management of Deltas, Deltas Alliance International Wing Coordinator for Kenya and a former advisor to the Prime Minister of Kenya on Climate Change and Green energy matters.

Benjamin is an Environmentalist with over 34 years’ Experience in Environmental Management Locally, Regionally and Globally. Mr. Langwen has a Masters of Science Degree in Environmental Pollution Control from the University of Leeds - 1994 (UK) and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Nairobi -1990 (Kenya). With 14 years working experience at the then Nairobi City Council as a Chief Chemist, 12 years at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) as Director in charge of Compliance and Enforcement and over 8 years’ Experience in Private sector as an Environmental Consultant/Advisor on matters Environment and Water Management. He is proud of being a twice recipient of Common Wealth Scholarship on matters Water and Environment in the United Kingdom. Benjamin has done specialized Courses on Hazardous Waste Management, Water Quality Management among many other courses.Mr. Langwen is a graduate of Kenya School of Government (KSG) on Strategic Leadership Development Program(SLDP) and on Corporate Governance .He was the founder and the first Executive Chairman of The East African Network for Environmental Compliance and Enforcement (EANECE - Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi) Network and is a member of International Network of Environmental Compliance and Enforcement(INECE) .
Mr. Malwa began his primary school at Twiga primary school in TransNzoia County ,Matunda and Ndabarnachi primary schools in Uasin Gishu County.He went to Nakuru High School for for his “O” and “ A” levels before proceeding to the University of Nairobi.
As the Director of Compliance and Enforcement at NEMA, he worked closely with the late Hon. John Michuki on the first clean up intervention for Nairobi Rivers from Dagoretti (Slaughter houses ) to the current Michuki Park.
Benjamin was in charge of formulating , Water Quality Regulations of 2006, Waste Management regulations of 2006, Noise and Excessive vibrations of 2009 ,Air Quality Regulations of 2014, Electronic Waste Guidelines , Asbestos Waste Management Guidelines , Harmonized Environmental Inspection and Investigation Manual for East Africa and also part of the team that formulated and amended Environmental Management & Coordination Act of 1999(EMCA 1999). He was incharge of drafting the current Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment(SEIA)Guidelines in Kenya.
He has consulted for Food Agricultural Organization (FAO ) Kenya and World Resources Institute (WRI) on GCF Climate Change funded programs in Kenya. He is a regulatory compliance advisor in Sugar Industries, Distilleries, steel Millers and Mineral Extractive Industries on matters Environmental Pollution Control.
Mr. Langwen is a Lead Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Expert of registration No. 1736 with NEMA, Chairman , Board of Management of Lukenya girls school of Excellence (Machakos County), Vice Chairman of Consumer Federation of Kenya (COFEK), a member of Environment & Planning Working group of Environment and Lands Court in Kenya and the Current Chairman of Environment Society of Kenya (ESOK)

Erick Ochieng’ Omollo is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and the Managing Partner at Ochieng’ Omollo & Co. Advocates. With over three decades of professional experience in legal practice, Erick has established himself as a respected authority in environmental law and governance.
He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Environmental Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Nairobi, alongside a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. Erick is also a Certified Public Secretary (CPS).
His practice focuses on environmental litigation, policy advisory, and compliance consultancy, where he has worked extensively with institutions, communities, and regulatory bodies to promote sustainable environmental governance in Kenya.
Beyond legal practice, Erick is passionate about research and knowledge sharing in environmental justice and sustainability. He is an active member of professional circles that advance the rule of law, environmental conservation, and sustainable development.
Stephen odhiambo is a tax consultant and is amember of east african maritim and sea fearer abitration board . Stephen odhiambo is a pertionate enviromentalist with atree plantation of ten thousand trees.
Mary is an experienced and broad-minded scientist, with key interests in Nature Conservation and Climate Change management. She envisions building local democracy through local governments and citizen participation, environmental governance, climate change finance, safe sanitation for sustainable livelihoods.
Her aim is to provide evidenced-based technical input and implementation leadership to locally-led action programs, policies and projects which promote local democracy, sustainable natural resource management in order to improve rural livelihoods and increase resilience/reduce vulnerability in the face of climate change, without compromising on environmental integrity. She champions a women-led climate justice campaign that shifts the narrative from fear to hope, to ensure the planet is a habitable home for everyone.
Ms. Mbenge is wildlife and enthusiastic Birder with a First-Class Honors Masters’ Degree in Landscape Ecology and Nature Conservation University of Greifswald, Germany; an undergraduate degree in BSc. Wildlife Management from Moi University and more than a dozen relevant postgraduate short courses including Strategic Leadership and Senior Management Course from Kenya School of Government, Post Graduate course in Project Planning & Management from Ms TCDC, Climate Change Adaptation in Food Security and Natural Resource Management from The Wageningen UR Center for Development Innovation – Netherlands, Environmental and Social Safeguards Course from ESAMI University.
She has 10 years of local and international experience in consultancy, capacity building, auditing and training on Environment, Climate change and Natural resource management. Having worked as a lecturer at KSG, Chief officer for Environment and Climate change in Makueni and Project officer at Nature Kenya; she has published several articles in reputable journals based on my work experiences and is a distinguished IVLP Awardee of Approaches to Climate Change Challenges from the United States Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and twice - a National Geographic Explorer. She is a professional member of the Tropical Biology Association and the Environment Society of Kenya.
